I had the chance to chat with this talented young artist today at the Street Art Fair International, a one of kind art gallery showing put on by the leather-man himself, Jeff Hamilton. Just a few moments into my conversation with Amerrikaz Most, I felt I was chatting it up with an old high school friend. The conversation took us in a variety of directions as we discussed his beginnings in art, his life in Tennessee (of which he boasts a pretty unique tattoo), as well as the political atmosphere in LA and around our nation. It was clear that this young artist at the ripe age of 24, is sharp and his art is a unique and vibrant expression of his take on hip-hop legends along with other muses he features in his work. One of the primary themes of Amerrikaz art features iconic musicians from the 90’s era. His pieces made from art resin stretched and glazed feature Tu-Pac, The Notorious BIG, Aaliyah, Amy Winehouse, and Big L to name a few. Amerrikaz art has drawn significant attention from gallery guests and we are excited to be featuring his art at StreetArts.Auction.
